1. SMT Assembly and Optical Component Integration

The process begins in our dust-free SMT (Surface Mount Technology) cleanroom, where high-efficiency LED chips are precision-mounted onto a high-thermal-conductivity MCPCB (Metal Core Printed Circuit Board). Following the mounting process, the boards pass through a reflow soldering oven to ensure perfect electrical connectivity. Simultaneously, our optical engineers integrate specialized Type II or Type III lenses over the chips. This stage is critical for Decano's 100W performance, as the precision of the chip placement directly determines the light's final lumen output and beam uniformity.

2. Die-Cast Housing Preparation and Powder Coating

While the electronics are being prepared, the "body" of the lamp is formed through high-pressure aluminum die-casting. The 100W housing is specially designed with integrated heat dissipation fins to manage thermal loads. Once cast, the housing undergoes a multi-stage chemical cleaning process followed by an electrophoretic powder coating. This creates the "Marine-Grade" anti-corrosion layer that Decano is known for. After the coating is cured in a high-temperature oven, the housing is ready to be joined with the LED modules and the high-reliability internal driver.

3. Waterproof Sealing and 24-Hour Aging Tests

The final assembly involves the installation of the high-grade silicone gaskets and tempered glass covers to achieve an IP65/IP66 waterproof rating. Every Decano 100W street light then enters our automated aging facility. Here, the fixtures are powered on for a continuous 24-hour stress test, cycling through various voltage levels to ensure driver stability and thermal management. Finally, a sample from each batch undergoes a "Water Immersion" and "Salt Spray" test to verify that the lamps can withstand the world's harshest outdoor environments before being boxed for export.
