Step A: Ground Assembly

At Decano, we recommend attaching the mounting bracket to the light body while on the ground. Secure the bracket using the provided stainless steel bolts. Ensure the bolts are tightened to prevent any vibration-induced loosening.

Step B: Lifting & Positioning

Lift the 20W Integrated Light to the pole top. Slide the sleeve of the bracket over the pole. If you are mounting to a wall, use expansion bolts to fix the wall-mount adapter first.

Step C: Securing the Unit

Tighten the heavy-duty "grub screws" on the pole sleeve. Ensure the unit is level. Because the 20W model is lightweight, a single technician can usually complete this process in under 10 minutes.

Step D: Verification

Cover the solar panel with an opaque material to simulate night. The High-Performance LED should ignite instantly. Once the cover is removed, the light should turn off after a short delay, confirming the MPPT controller is functioning correctly.
